Vanessa Alexander is an Emmy-nominated producer/director/writer who has worked as a professional director and producer of drama in New Zealand for the last ten years. For the last three years she has been the Director of Screen Production for University of Auckland where she has been a producer on many short films, including the Oscar-nominated short film Two Cars, One Night. Vanessa is a past winner of NZ New Filmmaker of the Year, has twice been a finalist for Best Director and Best Screenplay, and won Best TV Series at the NZ Screen Awards.
