Alain Ross is a writer/director of Franco/British origins. He trained in theatre in which he worked for ten years before turning to film. In 1997 he wrote and directed "Bound", a short film, which won several prizes and was selected in 40 international film festivals. In 2000 he co-wrote and directed his first feature film, "L'attrape-rêves" (Dreamcatcher), which received good critical
acclaim. He then co-wrote Eric Veniard's first feature film, "Une affaire qui roule" (2003), a comedy. He recently co-wrote Laurent de Bartillat's first feature film "Ce que mes yeux ont vu" (2007) about Watteau, the artist. He is currently developing his second feature film.
