International Casting Director Nancy Bishop, an American-born woman who works out of Prague, kicked off the Master Lecture Series with a lecture on the art and craft of casting. |

Nancy has worked on such notable features as Mathieu Kassovitz’s Babylon AD, the James Bond Casino Royal, The Illusionist, Bourne Identity, and Hellboy, to name a few. Nancy talked about strategies and techniques for film casting in front of a packed house of Master and undergraduate students. Nancy has just published "Secrets from the Casting Couch", a practical guide for actors and directors which offers specific techniques for working in front of camera. The book also addresses casting in the Internet age, and suggests strategies for using today’s technologies to get cast.
