The internationally renowned director gave an informal talk on the trials and tribulations of a young film director and left the students with a dozen of his shorts they are still fighting over.

Originally a painter Olivier Megaton was one of the pioneers of the graffiti movement in the 80’s and it is Jean-Baptiste Mondino who encouraged him to take up movies in the nineties.

Olivier Megaton was right to follow his advice, as he has become today one of France’s most distinguished action directors.

This month, he spent the afternoon with an enthusiastic audience of students and talked about his recent international hit TRANSPORTER 3, written and produced by French mega producer Luc Besson, starring Jason Statham, Robert Knepper, François Berléand. The lucky students were shown a behind-the-scenes documentary of the film, including various fight-scenes, car and train-stunts, peppered with stories by Olivier as to what really happened!
